Challenge

We have come back this summer with an improved Mahanadi challenge. In addition to last years choices, new options Run Only and Step challenges are available.

A Mile A Day

365 Miles

This challenge is for beginners who don't have enough time to spend on fitness activities. A Mile A Day of RUN or Walk on average shall help achieve the target. Your running/walking mileage must be available on Strava app.

Mahanadi One Way

560 Miles

If you are just starting your fitness journey, this is an ideal challenge. An average of 11 miles of run and walk per week for a year shall take you to the finish line. Visualise this as you strolling along the Mahanadi bank starting from Amarkantak and reaching the Bay of Bengal where Mahanadi merges into the sea. Your running/walking mileage must be available on Strava app.

Mahanadi Round Trip

1120 Miles

Mahanadi roundtrip is a good challenge for someone already on their wellness journey. It needs 22 miles of run and walk per week. You must be committed enough to spend enough time to achieve this goal. It isn't difficult but it demands motivation and discipline. Your running/walking mileage must be available on Strava app.

Mahanadi One Way

560 Miles

This is a run only challenge and is suitable for those athletes who are already into running and are trying to be consistent with their running regime. It is intended for walkers who have clocked significant mileage over last 12 months and are focussing on running now. If you are a getting back to running, this is an ideal distance to target over next 12 months. Your running mileage must be available on Strava app.

Mahanadi roundtrip distance is the ultimate challenge for seasoned runners. Only running distance is is counted. It needs 22 miles of run per week. Steps Challenge

4K A Day

This steps count challenge is good for those who are too busy to get time for run or walk and lives sedentary lifestyle. The participants don't have to record start or end time their activities as the wearable/mobile device records steps automatically. Onetime sync up is required with StepUp app which keeps all the steps count for participants.

Steps Challenge

7K A Day

It is said that daily steps of 7k help prevent heart disease. It is ideal challenge to take care of cardiac health. The participants don't have to record start or end time their activities as the wearable/mobile device records steps automatically. This challenge helps the participants to maintain there physical health in many ways and make them ready for active sports.
